One-day courses at NOCO Hair in Clifton. Stage 1 on your doll's head, Stage 2 on live models.
One day on your own doll's head, for Level 2 qualified hairdressers. Most people take this course two or three times before moving on to Stage 2. We go slow and repeat the process until the basics are in your hands, learning to walk before we run. Then we get you working on a live model.

Pass Stage 1 and you're invited to cut on a real person, with Noel at your shoulder and six of you in the room. It's the day it stops being practice and starts being your job. Most people earn it on their second or third Stage 1.
Every Stage 1: one day, 10am start, on your own doll's head. Six students, one educator, never more. Every session is £350. Your first doll's head is included, spares are £50, and your third session comes with a new one free. Stage 2 is the same six-to-one, on live models we provide.
I'm Noel. I co-own NOCO Hair in Clifton, one of Bristol's busiest salons, and I've spent the last decade turning 10,000 haircuts into frameworks anyone can learn. The courses are those frameworks, taught the way I teach my own team.

Any hairdresser with a Level 2 qualification. Just qualified or ten years in, everybody starts together at Stage 1, because sectioning is where confidence comes from at every level. Foundations runs first, because short builds on what long teaches you. Short Hair is the next step after it; join the list on the card and the dates come to you first. Not for apprentices or complete beginners yet, though they're welcome at the Live Demo Sessions.
Most people do. Nobody masters sectioning in a day, and the simple stuff done right is what makes you confident on a real client. We like people to have done Stage 1 two or three times before Stage 2. Every session is £350. Your first doll's head is included and yours to keep, spares are £50 on the day, and your third session comes with a new one free. A long-hair doll's head is good for about two goes before it becomes a short-hair head.
Stage 2 is the live model day. Same six-to-one, at NOCO Hair, models provided, £350. It's by invitation: pass Stage 1 and Noel invites you, with the dates, as soon as there are enough of you to run one. Most people get there on their second or third Stage 1.
Scissors, comb, clips, a notebook. Your doll's head is included and yours to keep. If you'd rather cut on the Allilon mannequin, bring one, it's £120. On Stage 2 at our salon we provide the models, unless there's someone specific you'd like to work on. If we come to your salon, you provide the models.
Tell us early and we'll move you onto the next Stage 1.
Cancel up to 48 hours before the day and we'll refund you in full, no questions. Inside 48 hours we can't, because your place has been held and your doll's head is ordered.
Yes. Salon owners: we run Stage 1 and Stage 2 on your own floor for your team, and you provide the models for Stage 2. Colleges and educators: Noel comes in and cuts live for your students. Say which you are in the chat and we'll call you to work out the details.
