Noel Halligan Cutting Academy is a trading name of Finally Surface Ltd, company number 17316920, registered office 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. The courses run at NOCO Hair, 147 Whiteladies Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 2QT. This page explains what happens to your details when you use this website. The short version: we collect only what you type in, we use it to run the courses and to tell you about dates, and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you book a course, join a waitlist, or ask for a call back, we collect what you choose to give us:
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- Which course or date you're interested in, and anything you tell us about yourself, such as whether you're Level 2 qualified or where you work
- When you pay, your payment is handled by Stripe or Tide. We see your name, email, the amount and the course. We never see or store your card details
This site doesn't set tracking cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
To do the thing you asked for: hold your place, send you the details for the day, put you on the list for the course you asked about and text or email you when dates go up, or call you back. The lawful basis is that it's necessary to take the steps you've asked for before and after booking, and our legitimate interest in running the academy. We'll only send you our newsletter, with news about new courses and dates, if you tick the box asking for it, which starts unticked. Every message tells you how to stop, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Where it goes
Your details are stored by Netlify (the form service behind this site), Calendly (bookings and reminders), Stripe and Tide (payments), and on Noel's phone and email. All of these have their own privacy policies and keep data in the UK, EU or the USA under standard safeguards. Nobody else gets it. We don't sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for six years, because tax law says we must. Waitlist and call-back details are kept until the course you asked about has run, or for two years, whichever is sooner, unless you've asked us to keep you posted.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Text or call Noel on 0117 403 0998, or email noel@nocohair.com. We'll reply within a month, usually much sooner. If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
